ABOUT HEMLOCK HOUSE STUDIO

Hemlock House is a boutique floral and gift studio located on beautiful Camano Island in Washington state. We offer floral arrangements and bouquets for clients in the Camano and Stanwood area. We prioritize sustainable practices in floral design omitting the use of floral foam and sourcing flowers from as close to home as possible.

In addition to our floral work we offer a selection of greeting cards and gifts. Our greeting card line is available for both retail and wholesale clients.  

Samantha Wagner, Owner & Designer

Samantha has a background in art direction, prop styling and graphic design, primarily in the publishing industry. After her move to Camano Island in 2018, she was deeply inspired by the multitude of small flower farms in the surrounding area. A long-time lover of flowers Samantha has taken her skills in design and applied them to creating sumptuous, bespoke arrangements for her clients. Originally from Canada, Samantha now calls Washington home alongside her husband, son and two miniature dachshunds.

WHERE WE SOURCE OUR FLOWERS

We are passionate about supporting American farms! The farms we support are based in Washington, Oregon and California (and occasionally in British Columbia). 

Between the months of April and October you can expect your flowers to be both from our own cutting gardens and local farms. The farms we support are located on Camano, in Stanwood, Mount Vernon and Arlington. 

Year round (especially in the months of October through March) we source our flowers through the Seattle Wholesale Growers Market based in Seattle. This market is a farmer-owned and operated. You can learn more about their farmers here: http://seattlewholesalegrowersmarket.com/about-us/
